Department Overview
Orthopaedics is the branch of medicine that deals with diagnosing and treating problems with the bones, joints, and muscles. Fractures, joint injuries, back discomfort, and ligament damage are all conditions that directly affect a person's ability to move and do everyday things. So, it is very important to perform a thorough clinical examination and seek treatment as soon as possible to address these problems.
The Department of Orthopaedics at Prince Hospital focuses on studying and treating musculoskeletal problems through a standardised clinical procedure. Based on the patient's history, physical exam, and diagnostic findings, our clinical staff determines the exact nature of the injury or disorder and develops a treatment plan. In many cases, surgery is necessary, but the most important thing is that the decision about whether a patient needs surgery or conservative care is based only on an accurate clinical examination.
The department works with OPD, diagnostics, inpatient care and emergency support where required, helping patients move through the right clinical pathway with clear guidance.
