This section sees a wide range of patients, from simple cases like colds and flu to more complex cases like diabetes, high blood pressure, or respiratory difficulties. So, it is very important for a doctor to know the patient's full clinical picture and provide an appropriate diagnosis.
The General Medicine section at Prince Hospital is all about comprehensive clinical examinations and evidence-based treatment. Our clinical team uses an organised procedure to figure out what is wrong with a patient. This includes obtaining a complete history, doing a physical exam, and running diagnostic tests. Based on these results, they develop a treatment plan. Although numerous cases may seem ordinary at first, the truth is that astute clinical judgment ultimately guides the trajectory of subsequent therapy.
The department works with OPD, diagnostics, inpatient care and emergency support where required, helping patients move through the right clinical pathway with clear guidance.
